Less Wood! Less Smoke!
The
E3400 ships with the orange EPA OWHH Phase 1 Sticker!! Many townships and some states are now requiring this. Be
sure to check your local ordinances before you buy! Give us a call if you have further questions... 517-563-2371.
This furnace is called The Sequoyah E3400. It is a gasification outdoor wood furnace. After much
experience with designing & building standard outdoor wood burners, where the firebox is surrounded by water and is the
sole heat exchanger that just gets creosote covered, we have found a much better furnace... True clean, efficient burn
requires 3 things(Time, Temperature and Turbulence). To achieve true high efficiency the firebox and heat exchanger
must be separate chambers. The units that we promote use up to 1/2 the amount of wood & emit VERY little smoke. "neighbor and labor friendly"

This view shows the refractory/firebrick.
*The refractory used in our stoves is "firebrick". It is not a castable that must be purchased from the manufacturer.*
All wood gas must travel down through this area where 2000 degrees F completely converts all wood to heat energy.
Underground pipes enter stove at rear, on a 16"x16" measurement
from rear corners. Our stoves do not require a window/opening in the concrete pad for pipes. Just pour a simple pad,
the dimensions of the stove (larger for a nice area in front). The pipes exit out the back, straight down. Stove
shed will extend over the back of the pad: a clean and simple installation.

Model E3400 Gasification Outdoor Wood Furnace The
Sequoyah Gasification Outdoor Wood Furnace is a whole new design in outdoor wood furnaces. This outdoor wood furnace will
change the way you think about the whole outdoor wood furnace industry. This patent pending process produces very low emissions
compared to other outdoor wood furnaces and will use much less wood, and give most home owners true 24 hour burn times. (BTU
being used, type of fuel, and dryness of fuel greatly affect outdoor wood furnace burn times). The Model E3400 Gasification Outdoor Wood Furnace has the following specs - Heats up to 10,000 square feet
- True
BTU 320,000
- Is a forced downdraft gasification design with 44'
of exhaust travel
- Firebox is 44" deep x 48" tall x 32" wide, holding 39
cubic feet of fuel.
- Furnace weighs approx 4000 lbs.
- Made
of 1/4" boiler plate
- Has an amazing 103 sq ft of heat transfer area which gives
it very low exhaust temperatures. I have tested this unit and seen 250 degrees @ full burn!! Test your neighbors
unit and expect temps. around 750 degrees.
- Stands 60" wide x 72"
long x 94" tall
- Fiberglass insulation.
- Holds
210 gallons of water
- 24" x 24" door
- Will
produce very steady heat.
- This is an outdoor wood furnace and is for burning firewood
only. Burning of trash, tires, coal, building materials is not allowed and can affect your warranty, and is in violation with
most local ordinances.
- Comes with an ash pan for easy cleanout.
- Comes with a 20 year pro rated warranty.
An
explanation of how this outdoor wood furnace works follows. 1.
Wood is loaded into the firebox all the way to the top. 2.
Air is injected using a forced draft blower from the rear of the furnace. The outdoor wood furnace is designed such that there
is no way for the air to escape except to go down though spaces in the firebrick in the bottom of the outdoor wood furnace.
This causes the fire and smoke to get very turbulent in the firebox and mixed very well with an excessive amount of oxygen.
3 things must happen to get complete combustion (time, temperature and turbulance) 3. The exhaust exits through openings in the bottom of the outdoor wood furnace
floor made of heavy duty firebrick. It then separates into 2 separate exhaust streams and travels through an insulated maze
of firebrick tunnels over 12 feet long. it is forced to change direction many times and gets adequate time to burn all of
the gases and to drop out much of the fine emissions. This area gets very hot, sometimes in excess of 2000 degrees.
4. After this the 2000 degree exhaust enters
the heat exchange area where the exhaust temperature is brought down to temperatures of under 300 degrees 5. After exiting the the heat exchangers it then travels another 6 feet and
then exits the chimney pipe on the top of the outdoor wood furnace. Buy Now for $11,300
